Tacteris announced today that it hosted a meeting with the Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence, and the Honourable George Chahal, M.P., on August 31. The meeting focused on the next generation of software for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and highlighted Tacteris' ongoing projects supported by Government of Canada investments through the Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) and Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) programs.
During the visit, Tacteris showcased several key projects under development. The Tacteris Orchestra™ software, funded by ISC, is designed to help responders manage critical resources during major domestic emergencies. Additionally, Tacteris Forte™, developed in collaboration with IDEaS, aims to enhance military logisticians' ability to plan and predict supply and sustainment needs for all CAF missions. The Ministers also participated in interactive demonstrations of Tacteris Maestro™, the company’s flagship battlespace platform. "There is ingenuity in the Canadian economy. I've witnessed it right here today in Calgary. I couldn't be more proud to see what I saw today with Tacteris." Tacteris CEO Sean Dunn added, "It was a great honour to host the Ministers and to demonstrate our made-in-Canada solutions. We are thrilled to be collaborating with the Department of National Defence on these important initiatives. We're on the path to delivering next-gen software directly into the hands of our military service members."
